Description

The book follows the life of a Chesapeake waterman from about the age of six, though World War II and into his marriage. it is also about the schooling of a waterman and his trials and tribulations tha the war caused him. It is also about his love for the Bay, his friends and family.

Author Bio

The author was raised on the Chesapeake Bay and hade his first boat and crabbing license when he was only eleven. he ran charter boat from 1972 until his retirement in 2018. he fished from Sandy Hook NJ. to Key West FL. He served four years in the U S Navy then became a machinist/tool & die maker and obtained an engineering degree. he now lives on an antique Eggharbor yacht.
