Description

Jack Romaros has a desire to alter the course of the United States republic thats driven by his thirst for power, and the only way to achieve his goal is to arrange for the assassination of the sitting U.S. president. But Romaros is about to learn the hard way that good and evil arent always as cut and dry as they appear, and that power may not always mean invincibilty.

Very loosely based on fact, Megalomanic State is an amusing yet sober novel written for both the proverbial politically conservative choir and the millennial in search of some cold hard lessons earned from our history that are suspiciously becoming suppressed; on the very edge of eradication.

Author Bio

Angela Noakes is quite the quirky Midwesterner, you know, one of those 'deplorables'. She lives with her husband and Louie, a 6-pound Chihuahua who allows her to write when he's sleeping. Motivated by the idea that "common sense is no longer common, Noakes decided she was unable to idly sit by without sharing some of that archaic "common sense" said to be possessed back in the day, and that's how Megalomanic State was born. While primarily a political novel, she would never expect her readers to pick up a book without a little mystery, a little romance, and a little murder. Then, just for spice, a dash of common sense.
