Description

Wednesday's child is full of woe... When Rachel Watkins gives birth to her daughter on Ash Wednesday in 1953, she prays the old saying won't be proved true. Author Bio

Margaret Thornton was born and bred in Blackpool, where she still lives with her husband. A qualified teacher, she retired in order to write about the place she loves. She has two grown-up children and five grandchildren.
