Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Sheila Atley lives in Central Texas with her husband and two Shih Tzu's, one of whom fancies himself a kitty-kat dog. Having worked for years in banking and accounting, she was forever composing as thoughts and dialogues, paragraphs and pages were put to paper then put aside, until Discovering Caroline, a concept conceived in eighth grade, made an unexpected, yet dogged reappearance.Discovering Caroline is her debut novel.
