Description

Every night, ghosts gather in an upstairs bathroom, and a game is played. The scariest story wins. No soul can move on until they win. Tonight, three players are locked in this existential battle: a recently deceased girl with no memories, a smirking boy in a bathtub, and an old woman trapped in a mirror. In their terrifying tales, an ancient evil stalks the world, from the temples of ancient Egypt to the taxidermy labs of modern New England. This presence tempts the innocent as well as the corrupted, and its hunger is boundless. Drawn in exquisitely disturbing detail and full of twists you'd find in the finest horror manga, The Harrowing Game will leave you gasping.

Reviews

"The trio's unexpected results ensure the terror continues--perhaps signaling the possibility of future, welcome volumes." --Booklist

"[Revoy] excels at drawing grotesque horror but also renders people, animals, and insects with an exaggerated realism that makes his monsters all the more disturbing."--Publishers Weekly
