Steven Vinacour's hilarious third u-bend adventure sees Ted travel back in time to get acting tips from Shakespeare himself. Think Tom Gates, meets Bill and Ted, plus a dollop of unique comedy genius! Steven Vinacour's hilarious third u-bend adventure sees Ted travel back in time to get acting tips from Shakespeare himself all in the vain hope of becoming Romeo to Chloe's Juliet in the school play. But two new additions at school and some dodgy plumbing may put a spanner in the works of his already dubious plan. A hilarious page-turner that encompasses history, adventure, and comedy in equal measure. AGES: 7 plus AUTHOR: Steven Vinacour writes and directs TV shows and adverts and owns a content creation company, creating content for people who want content creating. He likes skateboarding, dogs, magic, going to the gym, eating and writing books about toilets (but not all at the same time). He can't sing, plays football badly, his dancing abilities are questionable and he's not very good at being an adult. Steven doesn't take life seriously enough and probably should know better. SELLING POINTS: . Fun typography and fast-paced action make this chapter book series ideal for reluctant readers . Engaging and active author, popular with schools TITLES IN THE SERIES: . 9781782703846 Ted and His Time Travelling Toilet: Roman Rewind . 9781782703853 Ted and his Time-Travelling Toilet: Tudor Tangle
This popular series is full of toilet humour (to be fair, the author does apologise for that) and the kind of jokes children love, but its packed with historical facts too, including the quirky, memorable ones that really make history come alive.
Wowsa! My 11 year old son is dyslexic and a very reluctant reader, I have tried many authors and topics to ignite his enthusiasm for reading. Funnily enough, as soon as he started reading all about Teds toilet, I heard fits of giggles and saw a smile on his face as he plies through the book! The language is kid friendly and just draws you in, to the point you feel your are in the book with Ted! Loving seeing my son read for pleasure, which I felt would not happen ever! -- Amazon reviewer * 5.0 out of 5 stars Must Read!!!!! *
Having only received my preview copy this morning, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It's hilarious main character and interaction with the reader is one of a kind and, although this is aimed at young readers, children of all ages will enjoy learning through the eyes of this lovable (and laughable) series. I can't wait for the next book.
