August Sarnitz is a practicing architect and professor of history and theory of architecture at the Akademie der bildenden Knste in Vienna. His many publications include books on R. M. Schindler, Lois Welzenbacher, Ernst Lichtblau, Adolf Loos, and E. A. Plischke.
