The book details a complex love triangle and all of the growing pains of being a young adult trying to find your way in the world. Get ready to experience an unforgettable summer filled with deceit, pleasure, and countless headaches. This contemporary romance is filled with plenty of drama, and is a must-read saga that captures the tumultuous but wonderful nature of summer love.
It has been almost a full year since Leila Davis split from her high school sweetheart a breakup that led to a handful of first dates, excessive drinking, and casual sex. This had just become a lifestyle for the 20-year-old college student. It was easy enough to brush off those casual encounters and pretend as if they never happened, until Leila finds herself in bed with Tyson Cameron. Try as she might, there is no way to avoid the mistake of hooking up with a guy in her social circle. Repeating the mistake until it becomes a common occurrence does not help the situation either.
The same day Leila wakes up in Tyson's bed, she has the misfortune of running into someone from her past, Jace Henderson a beautiful musician who could woo almost any girl with a flash of his perfect smile. He was the first person Leila let herself get close to her since her high school sweetheart. But when their relationship began to heat up, she bolted. Now that he is back from his study abroad program, he is insistent on giving their romance another try. Little does she know, Jace and his younger sister are cooking up a scheme to break Leila's heart as payback.
What starts out as a summer of silly fun and late-night partying quickly turns into a headache. Throw in sibling sabotage, her best friends' sleeping with one another, on top of having to study for the LSATs, has made this summer, unforgettable.
