Author Bio

Native New Yorker Maureen Anderson is a poet and romance author. Site-coordinator for a national young adult volunteer program by profession, she dedicates her free time to writing romance and women's fiction with multicultural characters. Her fondness for genealogy and history often works its way into her stories.

With a cup of coffee nearby, she writes from her home and cafs throughout the country. As a graduate of the High School of Music and Art, music continues to play a part in her life. She sings soprano in her church choir, led by her high school sweetheart-turned-husband, and manages stage productions.

Her two sons and grandson are her pride and joy.
