Author Bio

Alexandra Almond is a debut author, living and working on Bunurong land in Melbourne. She collects Penguins (the books, not the animals), and will happily chat for hours about dogs or trains or women's footy. She loves writing in all its forms; she blogs on Medium about her day job as a human-centred designer, and has previously written about AFLW for The Women's Game. Alexandra began writing fiction five years ago, while working full time and learning as much about the craft as she can. She is a member of Writers Victoria, the Queensland Writers Centre, the Australian Society of Authors, and Romance Writers of Australia (RWA). Several of her previous manuscripts have been shortlisted in the RWA Emerald Award, and she had a short story published in the RWA Spicy Bites Anthology in 2021.
