Deborah McAdory-Douglas is a first-time author. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, raised in Hueytown AL, she graduated from Hueytown High School. It was during her high school years that Deborah realized her love for writing. After a stint at Miles College, Fairfield AL, the adventure of travel and service to her country took her to the US Navy for twenty years. There she acquired her love for exploring foreign lands and learning about people's lives who were different from her own. After retirement, she married and raised two children (one in high school and one in Pampers). Seeing the elder through his graduation and the younger into second grade. Deborah went to work at the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Millington, TN, for six years.
Deborah currently resides in Douglasville, GA's with her husband Gary, daughter Kathryn and dog Trouble. Her son Christopher Schmidt (Rosemark, TN) a published author.
