Author Bio

Gail Pendleton's favorite place in the whole world is her summer house on the Delaware River in Pennsylvania. It's a magnet for friends and relatives of all ages. Sunday lunch for 35 No problem. Parking That's another issue entirely. When she's not swimming or rafting -- or just relaxing on the porch -- she has worked in journalism as as editor, columnist, and reporter, as an adjunct professor of English at Sussex County Community College, Newton, NJ, and as a Presbyterian minister who likes to leave a congregation both thinking and laughing. She also is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her children learned how to swim in the Delaware River.
