Let's get one thing straight, I am not your chosen one.
Forty-five-year-old, wayward-spirit Imogen feels pressure to settle down with her long-time friend-turned-fianc. Her comfortable-slightly boring-future is turned inside out when an alien prince in disguise kidnaps Imogen, sweeping her off to a new planet where he is heir to the throne.
Unable to return to Earth and now a sidhe herself, Imogen navigates a new body, an alien country on the brink of war, and the irritating advances of the sidhe prince who wants her to himself for more reasons than romance.
With the help of the prince's kinder brother, Imogen must master her growing powers, decide for herself what she wants, and come to grips with the truth about her own bloodline or lose herself in a world where those in control have already decided what she's going to be.
Meredith grew up in New Orleans, collecting two degrees from Louisiana State University before running away to Chicago to be an actor. In between plays, she got her black belt and made martial arts and yoga her full-time day job. She fought in the Chicago Golden Gloves, ran the Chicago Marathon, and competed for team U.S.A. in the savate world championships in Paris. In spite of doing each of these things twice, she couldn't stay warm and relocated to Nashville. She owns several swords, but lives a non-violent life, saving all swashbuckling for the page, knitting scarves, gardening, visiting coffee shops, and cuddling with her husband and two panther-sized cats. Ghost Tamer is her first novel.
