Jim Mohr was a small boy growing up in Central Wisconsin when the world of Cougar Reed appeared to him. Ever since, even during his time in the military and the Persian Gulf War, the fictional world centered around the Wisconsin Illinois base loomed in his imagination.Over 25 years later, his wife Jennifer urged him to put pen to paper, and two three-book series were born. Now, in East-central Illinois, he spends his time writing, practicing his lumberjack skills, and caring for the three cats and the dog who share the couples' home.
