Sean Cummings is an American film and television writer. Prior to his career as a screenwriter, Sean worked on the development and production of films such as 'THE PURGE', 'OUIJA", 'PROJECT ALMANAC' and 'TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES'. In 2017, Sean transitioned to screenwriting full time and received his first television writing credit for his work on the beloved Netflix teen dramedy 'EVERYTHING SUCKS!'. The following year, Sean joined the writing staff of Netflix's live-action television adaptation of 'COWBOY BEBOP' starring John Cho. In addition, he is a member of the writing staff for Amazon's forthcoming action-adventure television series 'CITADEL' starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra. He also writes for feature films. Sean resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife, son and their beloved dog, Penny. This is his first novel.
