Reviews

Praise for the Liaden Universe series:
I love the Liaden Universe books for their complex weaving of culturesand manners and the dangers of space travel. I was fascinated byRibbon Dances focus on the careful work of establishing trade with along-isolated world where psi powers are common. At play are the differencesbetween offworld procedures and the traditions and suspicionsof the planetary society. And an elderly, politely demanding norbear.Kathryn Sullivan, Talking to Trees

Time spent with the Tree and Dragon is always a joy. Ribbon Dance is amarvelous tale, a feast for Liaden fans. And everyone should be a Liadenfan. #1 New York Times Bestseller Patricia Briggs

Space Opera as finely crafted as a Tree-and-Dragon trade deal. Leeand Miller always deliver the goods.Jack Campbell, author of In Our Stars and Implacable

Breathtaking, innovative, and absolutely charming!Lawrence M. Schoen, award-winning author ofBarsk: The Elephants Graveyard

A brilliant entry in the Liaden series, with romance, intrigue, new friends
and old, and a new world to test Clan Korval!Ryk Spoor, author of Choosing the Players and theDemons of the Past trilogy

Starts fast and runs hot and true. Perhaps Lee & Millers strongest workto date. Space opera the way it should be.James D. Macdonald, coauthor of The Price of the Stars

Author Bio

Maine-based writersSharon Lee and Steve Millerteamed up in the late 1980s to bring the world the story of Kinzel, an inept wizard with a love of cats, a thirst for justice, and a staff of true power. Since then, the husband and wife have written dozens of short stories and more than two dozen novels, most set in their star-spanning Liaden Universe.

Before settling down to the serene and stable life of a science fiction and fantasy writer, Steve was a traveling poet, rock-band reviewer, reporter, and editor of a string of community newspapers. Sharon, less adventurous, has been an advertising copywriter, copy editor on night-side news at a small city newspaper, reporter, photographer, and book reviewer. Both credit their newspaper experiencewith teaching them the finer points of collaboration. Sharon and Steve passionately believe that reading fiction ought to be funand that stories are entertainment. Learn more about the Liaden Universeat http://korval.com.
