Description

The Heal Your Daughter Workbook is a step-by-step guide with which parents can work with their teen girls to practice the lessons of the companion book, Heal Your Daughter. With this Workbook, readers and their daughters can practice the exercises necessary to remake lifestyle habits and to firmly establish the foundations of physical and mental health. In the Workbook, Dr. Green walks parents and other caregivers through forty two exercises with which they can assist their daughters to develop health-promoting, depression-reversing habits. Exercises are provided in six evidence-based domains: nutrition, detoxification, exercise, sleep, emotional connectedness, and stress reduction. The exercises are intended to impart new hope both to teen girls and to the adults who care for them. Like Heal Your Daughter, The Heal Your Daughter Workbook has proven to be an essential guide in helping parents to support their adolescent girls through and out of depression, cutting, and suicidal thoughts.
