Author Bio
Ian Fleming was born in 1908 and educated at Eton and Sandhurst. He became personal assistant to the Director of Naval Intelligence and was given the codename 17F. After his demobilisation at the end of the Second World War he began to think of writing a spy novel, and so began the famous Bond series in 1952.
