Description

When the defence lawyer of an alleged war criminal is brutally killed, barrister Michael Devlin is brought to the International Criminal Court in The Hague to take over the case. Agents Joe Dempsey and Eden Grace are called in to investigate the murder, and soon realise that someone wants Michaels client convicted whether he is guilty or not. And they are willing to kill to see it happen.
As Michael becomes convinced of his clients innocence, Dempsey and Grace must track down a key witness who has fled to Rome for his own protection, taking refuge in Vatican City. Now the two agents must find a way to get him out and keep him alive long enough to testify. In this dangerous high-stakes game, theres no one they can trust but themselves.
