"The Biography of a Beast" is a chilling thrill ride of a novel that examines the psychology and environment in which a child evolves into a murderer. Offering a unique and insightful perspective, this is a pressure-packed story that keeps readers on the edge until its dramatic ending.
Who we are and what we become is the product of where we have been and what we have been through. This book examines a boy's unique development that led to him becoming a ruthless killer in northern Georgia's wilderness. It chronicles the impact of extreme off-grid living and what could conceivably happen when abuse, cruelty, and abandonment are part of the mix.
As the beast is born, an unlikely small town sheriff becomes the lead investigator teamed with city police and FBI, while together they untangle the psychology and influences molding a one-of-a-kind serial killer. Author Bill Knapp delivers in this compelling psychological thriller that both entertains and haunts its readers.
Bill Knapp is a retired teacher and active artist, musician, and author. He will do commissioned art to your specifications in almost any media. Bill will also perform music live featuring oldies of rock and roll and country. He still performs live on Facebook weekly ever since the days when the pandemic had people shut in their homes. His motivation for writing originates from his days as a teacher when he used his own works to encourage his students to write and read. Much of his ability is also genetic as his father was a prolific writer of poetry as well as an excellent pianist. Inspired by both his father and his wife, Cathy, this is his third novel and first attempt at an adult thriller with a very unique twist.
