But when a bomb goes off at a scientific conference he s attending, he is reluctantly drawn into a conspiracy involving international pharmaceutical companies, a mysterious tribal inheritance and a world-famous cellist - a conspiracy as bewilderingly complex and deadly as the behaviour of his beloved locusts.
