Steve Orlando made a name for himself at DC Comics, writing Wonder Woman, various Batman titles and Martian Manhunter. His Midnighter series and its sequel Midnighter and Apollo were nominated for a GLAAD Media Award. Orlando arrived at Marvel to celebrate a legendary character's 50th anniversary across three Curse of the Man-Thing one-shots. Orlando contributed to Marvel's Voices- Pride and returned to the intersection of super-heroics and horror with the Darkhold storyline.
