Mike Maihack is a cartoonist best known for his Cleopatra in Space graphic novels published by Scholastic/Graphix. The six-book series has earned a Florida Book Award, a YALSA Quick Pick for Reluctant Young Adult Readers selection, and a starred review from School Library Journal, and it was later produced as a childrens animated series by DreamWorks Television. Maihack lives in Land O Lakes, Florida, with his wife, two boys, and two cats.
