Author Bio

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (30 August 1797 - 1 February 1851) was an English writer, best known for her novel "Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus". NORMAN B. SAUNDERS (January 1, 1907 - March 7, 1989) was a prolific artist who produced paintings for pulp magazines, paperbacks, men's adventure magazines, comic books and trading cards. On occasion, he signed his work with his middle name, Blaine. ROBERT HAYWARD WEBB, also known as simply Bob Webb, was an American comic artist active in the 1940s and 1950s through the Iger Shop. He did many features for Fiction House, including 'The Hawk', 'Inspector Dayton', 'Kayo Kirby', 'Sheena' and 'Tiger Girl'. He also worked on features for Fox Comics ('Blue Beetle', 'Dynamo'), Leader Enterprises ('Saga of the Sea', 'Salty Stuff'), Quality ('Samar', 'Merlin the Magician') and Great Comics Publications ('Guy Gorham'). He worked on the 'The Hawk' syndicated strip from 1952 to 1969 and illustrated comic adaptations of Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', Jules Verne's 'Mysterious Island' (1947, along with David Heames) and Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Kidnapped' (1948) in Gilberton's Classics Illustrated line.
