Author Bio

Enid Blyton's books have sold over 500 million copies and have been translated into other languages more often than any other children's author.

She wrote over 700 books and about 2,000 short stories, including favourites such as The Famous Five,The Secret Seven, The Magic Faraway Tree, Malory Towers and Noddy.

Born in London in 1897, Enid lived much of her life in Buckinghamshire and adored dogs, gardening and the countryside. She died in 1968 but remains one of the world's best-loved storytellers.

Beja and Natael

Natael and Beja (his son, born in 1961) have been creating graphic novels together since the 1980s. Natael studied the sociology of art and wrote his thesis on the connections between literature and comic books. He creates the plot and text for the graphic novels and Beja is the illustrator. Beja was passionate about drawing from a young age and always loved comics. But before he even drew his first comic, with a childhood friend, he built a set of a Tintin figurines and scenery and created a game. Their first 'bande dessinee' of the Famous Five was published in 2016 and they have created 6 so far.
