Huzayfa "Zayf" Umar is a Nigerian artist currently studying in Turkey. He was discovered by Saturday AM during their 2018 March Art Madness event, where he made it to the second round. The following year, he debuted a short story, "Myth Casters," during Saturday AM's #summerofmanga event. After a successful experience, with praise from readers and Saturday AM staff alike, he debuted his first full series, Orisha, in 2020. Zayf can be found on Instagram at @zayf_illustrations.
