The world of glamour and beauty has never been more intriguing than it is with comicdom's most famous supermodel: Katy Keene! Katy has seen more change and growth than perhaps any other Archie character in our history, having gone from simple pin-up girl to worldwide Renaissance Woman, travelling the globe shooting movies, recording albums, and judging fashion contests. Now, "Archie Comics" reprints the most recent Katy Keene run with stunning visuals by the multi-talented Andrew Pepoy, plus an all-new story featuring the never-before-seen history of Ms. Keene! Stories in this work include: "Katy's Diary" - Discover the compelling, dramatic, and heartrending story of Katy Keene's past, never before read by the viewing public! What chain of events brought our favorite comic heart-throb to the point she is now
After many years of publishing fanzines, and while still attending Loyola University Chicago, Andre Pepoy sold his first professional work and was soon working for Marvel, DC, and other major comic book publishers on such characters as Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, The X-Men, Fables, Scooby Doo, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Simpsons, Betty & Veronica, Godzilla, Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Wallace & Gromit, and many more. Recently he also began working in the European market. Starting in 1995 he also wrote and drew his own comic book feature, The Adventures of Simone & Ajax, which was re-launched online in 2007 at ComicMix.com and recently collected in print from IDW Publishing. In 2000, he was asked to redesign the Little Orphan Annie newspaper strip, which he drew for the next year. In 2005 he wrote and drew a revamp and revival of Katy Keene for Archie Comics, which is collected in this paperback, Katy Keene- Model Behavior. Having been nominated several times, in 2009 he won the comic book industry's highest award, the Eisner Award. He's also been nominated for multiple Hugo Awards and the Inkwell Award.
