Daniel Pennac is a renowned French writer whose most famous work is the Malaussene family saga, veritable ode to the Belleville neighbourhood. Tonino Benacquista is a noir novel specialist who has since branched out into other media, such as theatre, comics and cinema-where he earned the French Academy Award for best script for the movie Sur mes levres. Achde began drawing comics at age three and has never stopped.
