Ten years after being sucked into The Universe of the Four Gods, Suzuno leads a quiet life as a high school student in Tokyo. Just when she decides to get serious about her future and think about marriage, the book mysteriously reappears and throws all her plans into question. She resolves to return the book to the library, but a harrowing encounter on the street leaves her with no other choice but to return to The Universe of the Four Gods!

Author Bio

Yuu Watase debuted in the Shjo Comic manga anthology in 1989. She won the 43rd Shogakukan Manga Award with Ceres: Celestial Legend. One of her most famous works is Fushigi Ygi, a series that inspired the prequel, Fushigi Ygi: Genbu Kaiden. Byakko Senki is the final installment in the world of Fushigi Ygi.
