When Tokikos parents break up, she and her father move from the bustling city to a sleepy coastal town to live with her grandmother. Starting sixth grade in a new school where everyone has known each other their whole lives isnt easy. Things start to look up when local boy Yosuke, another outsider, wants to be friends.
But then strange memories start to surface.

Yoko Komori won the Silver Award at the fourth Golden Tiara Grand Prix in 2010, a year when no gold was awarded, for her debut manga Kimi ga Shindara (If You Die). Her manga Sirius and Mayu (Sirius and Cocoon) was serialized in the monthly magazine YOU in 2011 and collected into a graphic novel in 2012. Her graphic novels Mermaid Scales and the Town of Sand and Kokage-kun wa Majo (My Friend Kokage Is a Witch) were released in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
