With Rans powers growing stronger day by day, Grand Sorceress Shizuka decides that its time for Ran to begin her magical training and sends a master instructor to the human world to look after her. Meanwhile, a deadly insect has escaped from the confines of the Door and must be destroyed before havoc ensues!
Aki Irie was born in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. She began her professional career as a manga artist in 2002 with the short story Fuku-chan Tabi Mata Tabi (Fuku-chan on the Road Again), which was published in the monthly manga magazine Papu. Ran and the Gray World, her first full-length series, is also the first of her works to be released in English.
