Author Bio

Alastair Heim is a picture book author located in Kansas City. Laughter is his favorite sound, purple is his favorite color, and other-people-cooking-for-me is his favorite food. He's known to be a huge fan of music and has been known to play the guitar with impeccable mediocrity. He started writing picture books for his kids and thought there was nothing cooler than their reactions to his stories. Amanda Morrow is an American illustrator based in Southern California. Amanda uses digital media but strives to give her artwork a traditional look inspired by her favorite materials like; gouache, pencils, and oil pastels. She brings heart and imagination to story-driven illustrations and thrives when she can play with color and texture in her work. In her free time, you can find her enjoying sunny California whether that's on the beach or sitting in the park with a good book.
