Author Bio

GuoJing is an award-winning author and illustrator based in Canada. Her debut book, The Only Child, was a New York Times best illustrated book of 2015 amongst many other distinctions and accolades. Oasis is her fourth graphic novel and was inspired by the phenomena of "left-behind children"; children who are left in rural areas while their parents leave to find work in the city. guojingart.com
