Description

From Cullen Bunn (Harrow County, The Sixth Gun, Night Walkers) and Joe Bocardo (Night Walkers) comes a new tale of Hellish familial horror.

Six strangers, all broken and burdened, find themselves at the funeral for the father they never knew. Their father sold their souls to Hell on the days they were born. They are now destined to serve demonic masters in spreading chaos and misery.

Jamison Kreel is dead. Six of his children from six mothers are attending the funeral of a father they never met. Each of the children possesses a different infernal power. These powers, though, come at a terrible price...a price Jamison Kreel has placed upon the heads of his offspring. And the demonic debtors have come to collect.

Author Bio

Cullen Bunn is a comic book writer for Mad Cave Studios (Grimm Tales From The Cave, and A Legacy of Violence), Oni Press (The Sixth Gun, The Damned, and The Tooth) and Marvel Comics (Wolverine, Spider-Man: Season One, and Fear Itself: The Fearless). He also writes short fiction and novels, including the middle reader horror novel, Crooked Hills. Cullen's short stories and non-fiction have appeared in dozens of magazines, anthologies, and e-zines. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press. The follow-up, The Damned: Prodigal Sons, was released in 2008. Since then, Brian and Cullen have teamed up on The Sixth Gun, an ongoing supernatural western, and Cullen has also worked on several other projects for Oni Press, Marvel, and DC.

Joe Bocardo was born in Cdiz (Spain) in 1980 and has lived in Seville since 1994, with his wife and two children. His career as an artist began with PHANTASMAGORIA (2020) and SANGRE BRBARA (2021), both comics with El Torres. In the USA, Joe has worked with publishers such as Scout Comics (THE RECOUNT, THE SHEPHERD, WEST MOON CHRONICLE), Source Point Press (NIGHTWALKERS) in his first collaboration with Cullen Bunn, Mad Cave (THE HEXILES), and The Lab Press (HUNGER), among others.

Manoli Martinez started his career as a colorist in 2009 being published in small publications of magazines and fanzines related to the world of comics. He then made the leap as a professional colorist in 2010 working with Spanish publishers such as Karras Comics, on titles such as Barbarian Blood, The Puritan, Drakul Editions, Cv, and others. Manoli has also worked with American publishers such as Dynamite, Mad Cave, Scout Comics, Lab Press, and Oni Press. He has also published works with Leviathan Labs, a European publisher, and Titan1Studios, a Canadian publisher. Manoli Martinez was nominated for best colorist at the 2017 Carlos Gimnez Awards.

El Torres (1972) is an acclaimed Spanish writer, multiple award-winner in Spain and even an Eisner nominee, creator of comics like The Veil, Nancy in Hell, and Roman Ritual. His work focuses on horror and scary things. But he also enjoys lettering comics, and even more so when they're his friends' comics. And that's what he's doing here! El Torres' work is characterized by the use of familiar tropes from popular culture, always giving them a unique twist. His books have been published in the USA, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Poland and Japan, but he prefers to live in the south of Spain.
