Description

Every year, the circus comes to town. However, "The Black Top" isn't like any you've seen before-its performers were once dead and they've been resurrected by their fearsome ringmaster, AZLON. BARNABY JAMES, a young gravedigger, requests that Azlon resurrect the love of his (former) life, DELILAH. Time and time again, his pleas are rejected. Frustrated, Barnaby decides to steal Azlon's magic wand and bring back Delilah himself. On his desperate journey to find her, Barnaby must overcome murderers, cannibals, and sex slavers, not to mention the full fury of Azlon, or he might just find himself dead...again.

Author Bio

Neil Gibson is a former management consultant, turned writer. He is very passionate about the comic book medium and believes it is one of the most efficient ways to communicate concepts. If you want to annoy him, just mention how you think comics are just for kids - his reaction is a common source of amusement. His mission is to get more and more people to both read and to create comics. He lives in London with his wife, two children and seemingly endless household visitors. After graduating from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, Brian Nathanson has written screenplays for Disney, Warner Bros, and Universal among others. BARNABY JAMES will be his first graphic novel. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter/boss.
