Crom does not deny the faithful! The Savage Sword of Conan Omnibus collections are continuing and collecting the greatest sword-and-sorcery comic magazine of all time! In this massive hardcover volume, we present not only sixteen issues of Savage Sword crafted by the greatest Conan comics creators of the era, but also the never before reprinted full-colour graphic novel, Conan: The Witch Queen of Acheron. Highlights include: The art of Gary Kwapisz, a sword-and-sorcery master whose richly detailed style ranks him among the greatest Conan illustrators; stories by writer Larry Yakata, an Olympic martial artist who brought a new voice and action-oriented authenticity to the series; contributions from celebrated Savage Sword art icons including Ernie Chan, Rudy Nebres and Pablo Marcos; and a rare Robert E. Howard tribute story by Roy Thomas and Sandy Plunkett.

Author Bio

Don Kraar broke into comics as a writer in the early 1970s with short stories for DCs anthology titles. He became one of the mainstays of Marvels Conan comics line in the 80s with work on The Savage Sword of Conan, two Conan graphic novels and an extended run on Conan the King that saw the character expand his empire. Larry Yakata is a multi-time world and national judo champion and a former coach of the United States Olympic judo team. He received a masters in English Literature from Columbia University and has written for publications including the New York Times and The Savage Sword of Conan. Ernie Chan (1940-2012) immigrated to the U.S. from the Philippines at the age of 30 and wasted no time breaking into the American comic book scene. He would ink the work of John Buscema on Conan the Barbarian for the better part of fourteen years and also illustrated Kull the Destroyer and many other titles for Marvel. Gary Kwapisz became one of the defining Conan artist of the 1980s. He is also responsible for two, self-published Civil War graphic novels called, interestingly enough, Civil War Adventures. These books bring history to life, telling the story of Americas most terrible war.
