This book commemorates such events as the Great Tea Trolley Disaster of '67, explains what a buying clerk does to keep his or her head down all day, and describes the Hierarchy led by Sir Reginald Chester-Perry (who has even been seen, so we know he exists). Interspersed with the much-loved illustrations is Frank Dickens' text charting the development of a strip cartoon legend.

Author Bio

Frank Dickens, 'Young Frank Dickens' to his friends, is the creator of Bristow, which ran the London Evening Standard for 40 years until April 2001. He loves cycling and looks nothing like Bristow.
