Nothing is closer than the bond between twins. But what happens when you lose your other half Sharon is a third year medical student at Harvard who is barely able to keep her life together, familial tensions aside. When her anchor, her twin brother Jared, is suddenly ripped away, she finds herself adrift, forcing herself to embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery. As she makes her way back to her hometown, Sharon finds herself confronted with mysteries of the past that refuse to stay buried.
Felicia Hsu is an internal medicine physician in training at Harvard Medical School and biomedical engineer from Massachusetts Institute of Technology who spent her gap year during medical school writing her debut novel. She spent her childhood in Southern California surrounded by loving family, two ever playful and loyal four-legged brothers, and a tight knit community of friends who are the very definition of chosen family. When she's not working long hours in the hospital or taking a deep dive into the startup world of medical devices, chances are she can be found behind a camera, crossing the next destination off her travel bucket list, forming neuron connections between songs and memories, planning her next wilderness backpacking adventure, or journaling about the often overwhelming, confusing yet beautiful world we live in.
