Description

This children's book is about trying to understand the natural feelings that occur after losing someone you love. It is my hope that this book will allow children to explore their feelings and to understand that it is ok to be sad. The story will also provide children with a few skills in what to do when they experience grief and sadness.

Author Bio

Ruby Kalyani is an Early Childhood Educator in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and the author of The Goodbye Book, a story which supports children socially and emotionally through the grieving process. Her main focus is to support children and the adults that care for them, through relationship building, acceptance and compassion for others. She resides in Maineville, Ohio with her family.Lauren Allen is an Early Childhood Educator who has always had a passion for art. She enjoys connecting with children through art experiences- using those experiences to help children express their feelings, wants and needs. She is a mother of a little girl and lives in Lebanon, Ohio.
