Author Bio

Prime-time ABC news anchor Brenda Ladun is a breast cancer survivor. When faced with her personal storm, she inspired countless viewers who watched the nightly news as she underwent her courageous battle. A Susan G. Komen for the Cure award recipient, she is also the recipient of the American Cancer Societys Life Inspiration Award and award for Best TV Coverage. She has received numerous Associated Press awards, an Emmy nomination for Best Anchor, and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Radio and Television Journalism. In addition to news reporting and writing, she trains for marathons and is active in the local school and in her church. She and her husband, Doug Bell, and their three children live in Birmingham, Alabama.
