"In the Blink of an Eye" follows one man's battle with ALS. He lives by these quotes, some of which are original Tonyisms:
"ALS is so ugly in so many ways."
"You have no idea how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have" Bob Marley
"I can say F--- to ALS, our Government, and big Pharma."
"You will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." Dr Seuss
"Someday I won't have ALS and I will be free."
Anthony Paola was born in 1960 in Portland, Oregon. He worked at Platt Supply for over 39 years and was forced to retire early when he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig disease, in 2019. His wife LeAnn and their incredible family have helped him adapt to life with ALS.
