Author Bio

Marieke De Goeij is an illustrator and marketing manager, who studied psychology at university. While travelling and working in Australia, she suddenly experienced a period of deep anxiety, depression and burn-out. She was so debilitated that she went home to the Netherlands. When she was fully recovered, she drew this special activity book for herself. Now she wants to share it with everyone who similarly suffers from anxiety and depression. The Dutch version of the book became a huge bestseller, and has already helped more than 25,000 people. Due to its success, it has been translated into English and released in Australia.Marieke lives in Weesp, close to Amsterdam in the Netherlands with her husband Lars and son Finn. She made the book for herself and published it to help others.
