For Maisy, plants are like pets. She loves them. She cares for them. She even sings to them! But when she forgets to do something important for them she learns a really important lesson. Intended for children and adults alike, Don't Water the Plant tells the story of how important it is to nurture the things you love in order to help you grow.
Jessy was first published as a kindergartener for a poem she wrote about lions. Now, 30 years later, she's thrilled to share her second publication with the world. Her copywriting has spanned the likes of Silicon Valley tech companies, global advertising agencies, and even a family mushroom farm -- but this is her first children's book (though adults are welcome to enjoy it, too). Jessy resides in St. Louis with her trusty longdog Peanut. And she only forgets to water her plants sometimes.Randy Lutz is a St. Louis based illustrator with a range of stylistic expertise, from whimsical cartoons to richly detailed imagery.
