Reviews

"In Badditives!, authors Linda Bonvie and Bill Bonvie shine stadium lights on harmful, deadly, and, in some cases, disgusting additives that should be avoided like the unhealthy plague they are. The Bonviespassionate and respected consumer advocates and journalistslay out a damning, impeccably researched indictment of a Bakers Dozen of questionable and often toxic additions to the US food supply that should never have been approved in the first place. They not only detail a sordid story of fake science and dirty politics but also empower us with the knowledge of whats actually in our food."

James Gormley, author of Health at GunpointThe FDAs Silent War Against Health Freedom and vice-president and senior policy advisor of Citizens for Health

"With all the often confusing information published in recent years on the relationship between diet and disease, Linda and Bill Bonvies new book, Badditives! has singularly zeroed in on what researchers have identified as the chief culprits in the current epidemics of obesity, diabetes, fatty liver disease, and other major health problems. This is a must read for anyone who knows that they need to make changes in their diet, but isn't sure how to start."

Charlotte Libov, author of Cancer Survival Guide: How to Conquer It and Live a Good Life

"We are facing a growing health crisis the likes of which weve never seen before. The root cause of many of our health problems today can be traced directly back to our diet. And thats what makes Linda and Bill Bonvies Badditives! such a valuable resource. I highly recommend this easy-to-read book to anyone who wants to know the real story behind many of todays top dietary health hazards.Dont just keep this book to yourself, but give a copy to everyone you care about. Thats how indispensable the information is!"
Dr. Allan Magaziner, author of The All-Natural Cardio Cure and founder and director of Magaziner Center for Wellness

"Badditives! is a very good expose of the bad things used to ruin good food. Linda and Bill Bonvie describe many badditives that you have already heard of, like MSG and high fructose corn syrup, and some that you did not know existed, like meat glue. And kudos for including genetically modified food in the list, which our government has known from the beginning can cause numerous health problems. This book will inspire you to take the vow never to eat processed food again."

Sally Fallon Morell, president of The Weston A. Price Foundation

"An in-depth look at 'The 13 Most Harmful Food Additives' in the average Americans diet. . . . This is not your typical book reinforcing the negative effects of sugar. Its so much more."
