Kimiko was a full-time housewife and mother of two children who, at the age of 36, decided to take a class in walking. She soon started to reap the rewards from the practice of this everyday exercise, discovering the mental, spiritual and physical benefits of proper posture. The basics of proper walking techniques are outlined in informative, clear illustrations, alongside the body of the text which includes powerful self-affirmations.
Born in Okayama in 1961, KIMIKO started walking to get back into shape after the birth of her second child in 1997. She attended a walking class and discovered that walking not only benefited her health, but also her spirit. She subsequently developed her own walking technique that combined body-shaping and improving posture with self-affirmation teachings and spiritual growth.
Her teachings have inspired thousands of women around the world, this is one of many books KIMIKO has published on the subject.
