Gwen McCarthy has spent a lifetime teaching students who have ranged in age from middle school through college. A few years ago she realized that although teaching was still her calling, she wanted to shift the focus of her life to teaching about the loving and healing spirit of yoga.Her book, 52 Weeks of Yoga, covers a wide variety of topics that will delight any practicing yogi as well as acquaint newcomers to what yoga is all about.By the time she had finished writing the book, Gwen became even more aware that when the teachings of yoga become part of your life, they will gently guide you through all the days and years you are blessed to have.Gwen and her husband, Al live in New Jersey where she teaches Therapeutic Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. She is the mother of four children and the grandmother of five.
