CATOR SHACHOY is a yogi and mindfulness teacher. She has taught for over twenty years in the U.S., Europe, and South America. She has lived in Buddhist monasteries and spiritual communities in the U.S. and Europe. A Certified International Association of Yoga Therapy (C-IAYT) yoga therapist, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) instructor, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher and Visionary Craniosacral Work (VCSW) practitioner, Shachoy completed teacher training at the Iyengar Institute of San Francisco and Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, MA. Shachoy has studied and practiced extensively with senior Iyengar teachers Ramanand Patel, Judith Lasater, Elise Miller, Donald Moyer, and Marylou Weprin. Shachoy also offers a range of therapeutic workshops in Buddhism, craniosacral therapy, energy healing, mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Her work has been published in a variety of publications such as Common Ground, Inquiring Mind, Tricycle, and Turning Wheel.
