Dr. Mangum shares his life as a third generation blended/step family member that consisted of struggles as a young child having a stepfather, an absentee biological father and the overwheming challenges of becoming a stepfather as a young adult. He also puts on full display the tremendous opportunity that as a blended family can have by utilizing the following principles; Practical, Therapeutic and Spiritual will empower each blended family to go from just existing to excelling.
Dr. Mangum is a 32 year retired Air Force and Navy veteran, as well as a retired Federal Government Civilian Servant. I've also have been blessed to earn my Associates Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in Education and Training Management from the Community College of the Air Force as well as a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Business Administration from Concordia University and completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Christian Counseling from Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary. He also the Senior Pastor, Certified SYMBIS (Saved Your Marriage Before It Starts) Facilitator, President & CEO of Blending To Make IT, LLC, Silver Member of The Black Speakers Network and License Christian Counselor and Pastoral Therapist. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Dr. Mangum and his wife Michele are in a blended family, they have three young adults children and five grandchildren.
