This charming tale is about a curious basset hound named, Blue. On this hiking adventure, Blue encounters a few different animals that he soon calls friends. Rylee, Blue's very best friend, leads the way on this hike. Which turns out to be for the best, because Rylee needs to keep the distracted hound on the hiking path. Calling for him, "Blue! Blue! You slow dog you! Come on catch up!" Rylee reminds Blue that Mother has dinner almost ready, and she insisted they be home on time. Turns out that she prepared their favorite dish.

Author Bio

Stephanie Snider lives in Washington, but is originally from a small town in Indiana. Stephanie has many hobbies, but would've never thought writing a children's book would be one of them. Stephanie wrote this story in a way to honor and have a remembrance for her daughter Rylee. Rylee tragically passed away from cancer, and a few years later, so did their dog Blue. These events sparked the determination to create this passion project. A project that words could not describe how truly special it is. Special to Stephanie and to all that knew these two beautiful souls.
