"For My Sons" is a mother's poem of love to her two children. In the style of a personal message, it gives the reader a glimpse into the relationship of a family's first 24 years together. Jeannette Eseberre takes the reader through the boy's growth from newborns to grown men. From the point of view of a mother, we see young ones learn, develop, and mature. And parents are reminded that no matter how old their child becomes, they will always be their baby.
Jeannette Eseberre is a married mother of two grown sons. She is currently an elementary substitute teacher. Her favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends.
This book, For My Sons, was a poem originally written for her sons during one of her childhood education courses. Because it held special meaning to her, it was updated and turned into a children's book. Almost all of the sketches are from actual family photos taken throughout their life. Ignacio G. does a terrific job of bringing these precious moments to life throughout the book.
